The father of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Inutaisho was the ruler of the western lands before he was killed by his biggest rival Ryuukotsusei. Before Ryuukotsusei killed him, though, Inutaisho managed to seal him up. Inutaisho did fall in love with a full human, thus producing the hanyou Inuyasha. Inutaisho left the Tetsusaiga for Inuyasha (to control Inuyasha's youkai blood), and the Tenseiga for Sesshomaru,because he knows how Sesshomaru will grow up.
